Culture Encounters is a registered 501 (c ) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for everyone to encounter cultures different from their own through the arts, conversations, and shared experiences. Originally founded by Amma Gatty in September 2015 under the name Next Star, we are based in Richmond, Virginia, USA but we serve an international community of children and adults eager to become better global citizens.
