Keepsake House

www.keepsakehouse.com

Keepsake House was founded in spring 2021 by Jay Miners and Hailey Savage. The concept was inspired by the collaborative nature of a roundtable concert featuring Jay Miners and fellow Asian American women songwriters that Hailey hosted while working at the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) in summer 2019. While forming a friendship and deep respect for each other, Jay and Hailey connected over the lack of community space or support for independent artists in New York. This led the pair to build a company that could bring something special to both artists and fans: a safe, supportive space not only to share the art itself, but to inspire storytelling and nurture meaningful artist-audience connection. Through roundtable-style concerts and a focus on conversation about our artists’ works, Keepsake House hopes to leave listeners with a deeper love and understanding for the art made: a keepsake worth remembering. Keepsake House is committed to supporting independent artists across genres, backgrounds, and time zones. Our shows are purposefully affordable and accessible, and artists always receive the profits. We select artists through personal networks as well as public submissions and do not tolerate any form of discrimination at any stage of our show making process. Because of our respective backgrounds, we are particularly committed to promoting Asian American talent as we actively seek out BIPOC and LGTBQ+ artists to be part of our shows. Please contact us if you have questions or would like to join our community!
