The Knickerbocker Greys is an after-school, youth organization established in 1881 for boys and girls ages seven to sixteen. The cadets learn leadership skills such as how to motivate others, supervise a group of peers, properly convey empathy and patience, and build confidence in other cadets in a fun and unique way. The abilities acquired as a part of the Corps not only serve the cadets in their school lives now, but in their careers, and with their families, later in life. Parents recognize that the Knickerbocker Greys, unlike the usual after-school activity, is an organization that promotes values.
