Richard Aguggia started his career on the drawing board, working in an Architect’s office running as both a draftsman and an assistant project manager. During those first years, he worked on projects consisting of major law firms and corporate offices. He became passionate about quality design and sound construction. In 1993, he began a career in property management, working for Helmsley Spear at The Empire State Building. From there, he moved to another landmark property, Rockefeller Center, where he was involved in major tenant renovations and capital projects for Tishman Speyer Properties. Upon Tishman Speyer’s purchase of both the Chrysler Building and 666 Third Avenue, Richard became part of the initial team that successfully redeveloped the properties into The Chrysler Center. In 1999, Richard formed RFA Consulting Group and has since provided project management and/or construction management services for various types of projects, including both interior projects and ground-up buildings.
