Concordia Humana is a 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2008 to provide effective and efficient aid where it is most needed. Our focus on sustainable development means that our projects serve as a starting point for self-improvement and continue to benefit communities long after our direct involvement ends. Our current flagship project is PowerUp Ethiopia, which is building a solar-powered well for a community in the remote, arid countryside around Harar, Ethiopia. This well will provide a permanent source of clean, accessible water, and free up several hours currently spent each day by women and children fetching it from far away.
