Having opened its doors on February 11th 2004 Excel has continued to grow from initially the two Directors to 96 staff at this present time. Excel Manufacturing Ltd manufactures and supplies made to measure window blinds to trade companies throughout the UK. Our products include Vertical, Roller, Wood Venetian, Metal Venetian, Pleated, Curtains, Roman blinds, Panel Blinds and a motorisation program. Our raw materials and fabrics are sourced mainly from UK partners which include Eclipse, Louvolite, R.A.Irwin, Decora and Hunter Douglas. Excel now has 46,000 square feet of production after a further investment of £250,000 in 2015 on additional machinery, a mezzanine and a new air recirculating system. In February 2016 we finished installing LED panels throughout the factory and offices to help lower our carbon footprint but not only that we now have a bright and airy space to work in with no flicker when working on computers and better light when inspecting fabrics. In August 2015 Excel started training a new team of staff as the start of a late shift which long term will enable the company to double its capacity whilst keeping its local roots.
