IUOE 132
www.iuoe132.orgThe International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) is a progressive trade union representing well-trained heavy equipment operators and mechanics, as well as operations maintenance and other workers in building and industrial complexes and industry services throughout the United States and Canada. At Local 132, we are here to fight for you. We are here to bargain on your behalf for competitive benefits, job security, ongoing training, and safe workplaces. And we are here to make your union membership the best value on the market. It is our vision that your membership gives you the ability to say you are “Proud to be Union”. The men and women of the Operating Engineers operate and maintain various types of power-driven construction machines, such as bulldozers, cranes, pile drivers, power shovels, derricks, earth graders, loaders, and tractors which dig, scrape, and move great amounts of earth or hoist large quantities of building supplies. Local 132 has played a major part in building WV; including our highways, bridges, dams, airports, power plants, and building structures housing our schools, hospitals, governments, and shops. Our Apprenticeship and Training school provides world class training, constantly evolving to meet the industry and members needs.
