Wellington Mills is a community interest company formed to promote the future economic and heritage regeneration of disused Victorian factory buildings at Tonedale on the northern edge of Wellington. Closed since 1992, the Fox Bros mills once employed thousands of people in the woollen industry. The buildings are Grade II* listed and regarded by Historic England as "at risk" and of national importance. The company's plans will create studios, workshops, affordable housing and flexible office space for the creative industries.
