The Ohio Valley Chapter of URISA is the officially recognized Chapter of URISA for the State of Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. Its objectives are: -To encourage the professional advancement of GIS in the Ohio Valley Region through professional education and public awareness. -To foster the exchange of ideas and provide a forum of discussion on topics related to GIS in the Region. -To promote professional interaction within the state GIS community, stimulate research, encourage publication, and generally aid the advancement of its members and other organizations having related objectives.
