The Stratford Country Club is a shareholder-owned club that traces its beginnings back to 1896 when William Maynard began golfing in the open fields north of the Avon River. The present club was chartered in November 1913 with 50 original shareholders. The Club offers golf, curling and squash as well as multiple event spaces and menus for a wide variety of functions, whether formal or casual.
