DCALTA is a 501(c) non-profit organization created to educate the community on the benefits of including alternative investments within a defined contribution framework to better secure retirement outcomes for plan participants. There are many types of non-traditional investments and strategies that can be categorized as alternative. Our mission is to help others understand the different strategies, their risks and benefits, and operational designs being used for their inclusion. Our global reach includes stakeholders from the defined contribution community, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms, Commodity Trading Advisors, and other supporting entities.
