IPC is a seven year old, fast growing, not for profit practice. We have chosen a not for profit structure as the umbrella under which we work to provide the flexibility we need to focus on innovation and the application of comprehensive, evidence based care. We currently have doctors, nurses and administrative positions working alongside a mental health nurse and a diabetic educator. Part-time allied health professionals attending our practice include podiatrists, dieticians and a bi-lingual psychologist. Most importantly, we work as a team in a well- equipped surgery with great systems. Our mission is to become a benchmark for primary care in Australia by 2017. We want to attract and retain a close knit, forward thinking team so that together we can challenge each other and the ways things have always been done in primary care. Our objective is to ensure that patients, clinicians and funders all get a better deal.
