Medicly was founded to support the patient journey between doctors and pharmacy. With an estimated 15% of prescriptions never being filled due to accessibility barriers, there is massive opportunity in ensuring that prescriptions are locally available and affordable before the patient leaves their doctor’s office. Since COVID-19 arrived, there has never been a more important time for the health industry to be more connected and generous with information. Medicly is an independent information bridge between the pharmaceutical and regulatory industries, and medical practitioners. We ensure that doctors are aware of what is locally available, what expected patients costs will be before a prescription is written. This saves patients time hunting for medication; stops interrupting doctors for replacement scripts, and allows pharmacies to distinguish themselves by assuring supply. Medicly was founded by Hugh Armitage and Keagan Chisnall in 2019.
