The company was founded by Martin Healy who has worked in this specialist area of food intolerance for over thirty years. The company was the first to introduce and launch this new generation of IgG Food intolerance Tests into Ireland in 1998. From small beginning the Fitzwilliam FoodTEST Group now consists of a network of pharmacists, nutritional therapists, doctors and associated health practitioners spread throughout the country. The test itself is continuously being redeveloped and advanced. In 2007 the latest version of the test was launched. Using technology which was originally developed for studying DNA and gene expression, the laboratory progressed this development and extended the microarray technology to food intolerance testing This new state-of-the-art microarray test technology is now fully CE marked for the detection of IgG antibodies against food antigens This new state-of-the-art test is now established in more than 100 laboratories world wide Because of the advancement of this new microarray technology: · Foods are no longer tested as groups · Each food is tested individually · Each food receives its individual IgG antibody score Our associate laboratory is Cambridge Nutritional Sciences Laboratory (CNS) UK.
