The Department of Speech and Hearing Science prepares scholars for careers in audiology, speech-language pathology, and basic and applied research in educational, clinical, or health care environments. We offer educational programs culminating in the following four degrees: Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) Master of Science degree (M.S.) Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) In the most recent U.S. News and World report graduate rankings, Our Doctor of Audiology program was ranked 9th, and our Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program was ranked 17th in the country. Both of these programs are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Our graduates care for the millions of people with speech, language, and hearing disorders.
