Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. Lemonade Day came to Bryan-College Station in 2010 and has taught hundreds of kids the value of setting goals, developing a business plan, establishing a budget, seeking investors, providing customer service, and giving back to their community. Plus, kids get to keep what they earn! National Lemonade Day is held the first Sunday of each May all over the country. The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.
