Since 2006, we have led efforts to fight gender oppression and educate communities on concerns specific to trans and/or gender nonconforming individuals. Our Mission: Translate Gender is a collective-based, consensus-run non-profit organization that works to generate community accountability for individuals to self-determine their own genders and gender expressions. We accomplish this through youth and family support programs, conducting workshops, consultations, mediations, and facilitations of discussions in agencies, organizations, schools, universities, at conferences, and in the workplace.
