RentCollegePads.com was started for one reason and one reason only: to fix the unique challenges that college housing faces today. After years of living off-campus, we could not believe that no site existed that fostered an easier way to find and compare college places to live. Looking further into the problem, we realized that it wasn’t just students; landlords were also having a very difficult time, as most college students move into a new place every single year. We decided it was time to do something about this. Our goal became to create an off-campus housing community where students and landlords alike can come together to fill vacancies and find the perfect college house. Obsessed with perfection of the user experience, we will go above and beyond just a listing service. We will not stop until we have every single college landlord on our site. Our goal is to have the best site out there; by combining the best parts of what other sites have to offer--while putting our own twist on it--we think we have succeeded. Students can search thousands of apartment for rent, college sublease, looking for roommate. The last year has been extremely hard work: hours spent coding, putting the best possible team together, and finding out what landlords really want has finally paid off.
