The Donna Beattie Foundation is raising funds, through cancer awareness merchandise and other donations, to gift wigs and other head wear for cancer patients going through chemotherapy. This project is especially personal to me as I remember what my mother experienced while fighting breast cancer. From the sheer embarrassment of it all, down to the price tag itself, wig shopping was an ordeal. Through her experience Hats On Hats Off was created. It is my intention to bring some fun into the lives of those going through a tough time. Each cancer patient will receive two gifts from Hats On Hats Off. A day to day wig, fun and funk wig, head wrap, scarf, hat, turban, etc.. Whatever the patient wants! This should be a time to embrace their inner self, try something new and put some enjoyment into the painful process of kicking cancer’s a**!
