JJK PLACES, PBC is Denver's and Colorado's first "social impact real estate" development and consulting company, legally structured as a Colorado public benefit corporation (PBC). Its sole focus is on originating, developing, and consulting on mission-driven, community-centric real estate projects that create significant public good. As a social impact company, JJK PLACES combines the best elements of a mission-driven nonprofit organization with the financial discipline and entrepreneurial innovation characteristic of the most successful for-profit businesses. It is called a "hybrid business" model, and is part of a growing global movement promoting the idea that business should be a force for creating public good.
