My name is Wade Rodrigues and I would like to introduce you to Extreme Weather Homes and its Concept for the future. We are a group of Engineers, Architects and Designers who've made a commitment to design homes and structures that are built to withstand earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, floods and also be rodent, termite, and mold proof. Our homes are powered by a combination of natural resources including: the sun, wind or water, which when combined can offer the homeowner no utility bill and peace of mind for the future. We at Extreme Weather Homes have taken almost every consideration into the design of these homes. We've watched the news and we’ve seen many natural disasters kill families and wipe out communities recently. We have watched as elected officials ask for billions of taxpayer dollars in federal disaster relief money only to see them turn around and put back the same type of construction to be destroyed the next time disaster strikes. We at Extreme Weather Homes also see the rising energy costs as a direct result our unsustainable ways. Hydraulic Fracturing is a perfect example of how we are currently trying to find unnatural ways to sustain our energy needs while at the expense of Mother Nature. The Army Corp of Engineers gives the current Energy Grid a “D”. Meaning it is Vulnerable to Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Wildfires and Solar EMPs. We are here to save lives in future disasters.
