The 'Koninklijke Roeivereniging Brugge' or KRB is a rowing club with w long tradition and history. Founded in 1869 it is the oldest still active rowing club in Belgium and the oldest sporting club in Bruges. The KRB is organier of the annual Brugge Boat Race, a unique side-by-side rowing race over a 5000 meters race course on the Ostende-Bruges Canal between Nieuwege Bridge and the KRB Club House.
