Founded in 2019 by Nicole Fraction, HireStaff Chicago (HSC) is a 501(c)(3) public charity that provides career development and job placement services to people of color who are unemployed or underemployed. HireStaff Chicago has an affinity to prepare disadvantaged job seekers and create direct career pathways for them. Our mission is to increase to the economic prosperity for Black and Brown residents in the North Lawndale and Woodlawn communities through skills training and providing various employment resources. HireStaff Chicago is Women Owned and led by a team of Human Resource Professionals. The HSC Team offers a unique blend of connections, that help our clients with life coach exposure and career preparation. We deliver monthly events that include resume writing workshops, mock interview preparation, individual career counseling and skills training courses. We aim to enhance or develop our clients and give them more visibility in the job market. HSC has built relationship with local businesses and community leaders to address workforce needs and assist with talent supply and demand. We intentionally partner with businesses that want to close the skills gap within minority groups and support our goal to leverage a diverse and inclusive workforce.
