Ooznest Ltd. is a retail company based out of Brentwood, Essex, that specialises in CNC machining and 3D Printing. Our aim is to provide the maker community with the tools and resources they need to make their dreams reality. We also hope to reach out to those new to the industry, and to make it as unintimidating as possible who to want to explore this new revolution. Who are we? Ooznest was started by Ryan Lock, a Cambridge University Masters Graduate of Engineering, who first came across 3D Printing and CNC Machining during his studies and instantly saw the limitless possibilities that it entailed. From there he bought his own printer and made everything he could think of, showing his friends and family who were astonished that this type of technology was so easily and readily available. He saw this market gap and therefore created Ooznest, to try to support the existing makers and help newcomers realise how easily they could get involved and make. What do we do? Therefore from humble beginnings, Ooznest is fastly growing as one of the leaders of CNC machining in the UK. Its flagship creation, the WorkBee, has been praised around the world for its innovation, resulting in worldwide custom and acclaim for the business.
