Students in Money Management (SIMM) entrusts students to manage a real investment portfolio. Students determine and implement asset allocation, analyze market sectors, and coordinate administrative logistics. The Equity Fund, with $400,000 Assets under Management (AUM) is under Passive Management. The objective is to generate positive returns in rising markets through investments in Equity Securities, Exchange-Traded Funds, and Fixed Income Securities. The Risk Management team determines the level of risk acceptable and implements hedging strategies accordingly.
