Presidency university is a private university set up by the Karnataka Act No. 41 of 2013, under the University Grants Commission ( UGC) and commenced its academic programs in 2015. The University aims to build careers of youngsters who are on the threshold of completing basic education and are seeking tertiary programs to enable them to become employable. The fields of education offered currently are into Engineering, Management & Law disciplines.
