Connect’s work started in Katoomba in 1981 with a small children’s disability service, Possum. Connect now supports families through its services in communities in the Lithgow, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Western Sydney areas. Our family support programs include community based play groups, transition to school programs, volunteer-based parent and carer support programs, and the Brighter Futures program; NDIS and Medicare funded disability and allied health care and programs; and early childhood education and care in three centres in Hazelbrook and Mt Victoria.
