SARONG Spa was established in 1972 in Reggiolo (RE), in the middle of the Italian Packaging Valley, soon becoming the market leader of suppository and liquid single serve packaging machines, as well as of plastic film for the pharmaceutical market. In 1998 the Bartoli family took over the company and in 1999 SARONG introduced form, fill & seal machines for unit doses also for food, household & personal care. R&D for packaging innovation became the first priority and tailoring sustainable solutions for our customers has since become SARONG’s mission. Sarong has a unique business model based on its 3 synergetic activities: 1) Design, manufacturing and sales of automatic packaging machines for single-serve containers serving the following markets: - Pharmaceutical - Food & Beverage - Home & Personal Care (HPC) - Coffee, Tea, & Solubles 2) Converting and sales of plastic films to be used on any thermoforming FFS machine. 3) Contract Manufacturing / Contract Packing Services for single-serve products. The above mentioned synergetic business model is part of Sarong’s value proposal, as we design the machine we sell, we convert the plastic film to be processed onto the machines we sell and onto the machines we operate in our factory for contract manufacturing purposes. Therefore, we can offer to our customers an unrivalled value proposal consisting of specific know-how in manufacturing thermoforming (FFS) and Fill & Seal machines as well as single serve containers and coffee capsules.
