Legal Geek [www.legalgeek.co] was founded in 2015 as a legal tech startup community. We bring change to the legal industry by connecting, informing and inspiring. We have defined a simple ethos for our events: 1. Come to learn and to teach 2. Come to make friends, not to sell 3. Dress comfortably [please, please, no ties] 4. Look after your fellow law-gends, you may need their help someday 5. This is your community, please pitch in and help. You will be rewarded We organise the Legal Geek Conference in London, which attracts 2000+ attendees from 40+ countries and has even trended on Twitter. In 2019 we launched Legal Geek North America, a conference in NYC, that attracted 500 attendees in our first year! We are the Event Partner for the Barclays Eagle Lab Incubator in London and organised the first-ever women in law tech meetup series and first legal meetup helping millennial talent. In addition, we run a mentorship programme and Law for Good, a not-for-profit which organised the biggest online courts hackathon for the Judiciary of England and Wales with the MOJ, SCL and Richard Susskind.
