This is a time of changing emotions, feelings of loss, worries, anger and confusion. NFRC staff work with clients to establish a roadmap-- steps and coping skills to move forward; We help parents create a child- focused parent plan that helps parents navigate decisions about children, communicate as co-parents and the understand the different developmental changes their children experience. NFRC staff customize their work with family members based on the family's need. Educational programs teach coping skills and provide information about changes in families to prevent conflict and keep the focus on each parent being involved with their children. NFRC staff also work with couples by providing premarital, marital, separation and blended family counseling.
