ABOUT SIGNALS signals is the cross-industry innovation ecosystem of one of Germany’s leading insurers, the SIGNAL IDUNA Group. With our initiatives, we provide the platform to develop new business ideas, assess the impact of new technologies on the insurance industry, and partner with startups. In addition, we support the SIGNAL IDUNA Group in its digital transformation and enable collaboration with promising startups. signals is composed of the following initiatives: signals Startup Client: The Startup Client is the vehicle we use to promote collaboration between startups and SIGNAL IDUNA. We act as a bridge builder and promote win-win situations. Startups can thus gain a significant client, and the Group, in return, gains access to new technologies and innovative solutions. We also promote that startups get the best insurance coverage for their business models. signals Foresight: With signals Foresight, we dare to look into the future. We analyze and evaluate future technologies with experts and share the knowledge gained within the Group. Based on this, we develop use cases on how these future technologies will impact the insurance industry and derive strategic recommendations. signals Open Studios: the Open Studios are not only our workplace in the heart of Berlin but also event and co-working space, providing a place for the startup, VC, innovation, and the corporate world to meet.
