The Wayside and Whisky Barn is a B&B, restaurant and bar. The Wayside is a beautiful farm and stables, dating from the mid-1600s. Recently renovated into a hospitality business, this is a hidden gem in an idyllic, secluded location of the Western Lake District, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Wayside is surrounded by grazing paddocks and overlooked by the magnificent Black Combe Fell, and a pristine beach is just a short walk away. The Wayside has six accommodation rooms, and a two bedroom holiday cottage. With a plan to install two wooden luxury lodges in the Wayside grounds early 2019. The site also includes a 28 seat restaurant, and Whisky Barn with over 100 whiskies from the UK and abroad.
