At βακα (pronounced Vaka) we deeply believe in the power of individual game creators and small teams to bring about new entertaining content, stories and gameplay to the players. That is why our main business model is to find and provide support to these creators, and eventually help them reach a larger audience in a variety of media that, with video games as a first step, expands to anime, books, goods and offline events. In other words, we help them build an IP. This know-how in IP development and individual creators has led us to build a second activity which goal is to match famous existing IPs with the relevant creators in order to produce new appealing games. βακα started out in Japan as the Game Magazine, a platform that releases serialized story games such as the famous and acclaimed Angels of Death (game, several manga series and spin-off, novelization, anime) and Noel the Mortal Fate (game, manga, novelization) and many more available only in Japanese at this time. Since then, we have started localizing our existing projects in several languages and a collaboration with the Touhou Project has allowed us to bring the critically acclaimed Touhou Luna Nights and more unannounced exciting things to come!
