The research group is currently composed of 19 people among whom, Prof. François Vallée (leader of the research group), Assoc. Prof. Zacharie De Grève (coordinator Erasmus Mundus programme on Smart Cities), Dr Jean-François Toubeau (Postdoctoral fellow at KULeuven), Dr Bashir Bakhshideh Zad (senior researcher on the ADABEL project), Dr Jeremie Bottieau (senior researcher on the ADABEL project), Dr Adriano Arrigo (senior researcher directly funded by Belgian TSO ELIA) and 13 PhD students: -Lorraine Codjo (joint PhD with École Centrale de Lille - Prof. Bruno Francois) -Ahmad Hosseini (BEOWIND project) -Julien Allard (ADABEL project) -Behzad Vatandoust (ADABEL project) -Arnaud Rosseel (Teaching Assistant) -Abdulwahab Subuh (Irakian private company funding) -Aurelia Hernandez (BEST project - Joint PhD with Université Catholique de Louvain - Prof. Emmanuel De Jaeger) -Thuy-hai Nguyen (PhairywinD project - Joint PhD with Université Catholique de Louvain - Prof. Emmanuel De Jaeger) -Louise Sadoine (Joint collaboration with Mathematics Department of UMons - Prof. Thomas Brihaye) -Clélia Galvanin (Joint PhD with Laboratory of Experimental Gastroenterology, Erasme Hospital - Prof. Eric Trepo) -Hooman Khaloie (DISCRETE project) -Pietro Favaro (FNRS doctoral grant) -Jamal Faraji (ALEXANDER project) Through years, the PSMR group has developed expertise in optimization under uncertainty, AI (both Machine and Reinforcement Learning) as well as Game Theory, all applied to Power systems and electricity markets.
