Cobic is an innovative organisation providing strategic consultancy to the health and care sector. We bring our combined experience in the fields of clinical healthcare, public and private sector management, public health and national policy-making to stimulate local health economies into positive change. Our mission is to create a service where every contact will help people achieve the outcomes that matter to them. We pioneered the development of capitated outcomes-based incentivised care (COBIC). Paying for care like this catalyses services to work together and focus on real, tangible outcomes that are defined by – and matter most to – individuals, families and communities. We work alongside the public, providers and commissioners to guide, give practical support, and offer constructive challenge to make this happen. Our work is in tune with, and learns from policy changes in healthcare from across the world. In England, we are working with the NHS and local government in a number of areas to help them meet the challenges and expectations set out in NHS England’s Five Year Forward View.
