www.ceegeeu.comColleen designs one of a kind jewelry featuring hand-formed, hand-painted beads and oxidized sterling silver. Her beads are created from polymer clay with a focus on pattern and organic shapes. Pushing color play and drawing from a mid-century modern palette, Colleen composes signature pieces that allow the wearer to express their own creative self. Working out of her home studio she moves between soldering, sculpting and painting. "Keeping the work breathing and spread out before me each day allows me to push into new realms and build off of earlier concepts to fully enjoy the design process." After 15 years as the buyer and manager for the Memorial Art Gallery’s Store, Colleen's skill and expertise curating collections and collaborating with artists provides the inspiration for this new line which focuses on the wearer's own creative expression. "I love to celebrate the creative process through my work and the wonderful things that happen when a human hand makes something.” Her work was included in a 2017 exhibit, Multifaceted: An Exhibition of Fine Jewelry at Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs, NY and is sold at Main Street Arts, Memorial Art Gallery Store and Andrea Geer Designs Studio in Rochester, NY.
