OTFC has provided private clinical services in Adelaide for nearly 30 years. It is the longest standing private paediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic in SA that is centrally located in the CBD and services clients not only within metropolitan Adelaide but also in rural regions and Interstate. OTFC has evolved into a dynamic teaching practice where skills and techniques are shared amongst therapists, students, parents, carers, teachers, government and non-government organisations, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be empowered in working with the children - including the children themselves. OTFC does not provide other allied health or medical services – autonomy ensures we can continue to provide families with options. Every child is different and it is the child’s needs, personality and other factors that are taken into consideration when deciding which allied health services to refer to – we believe it is important to remain connected to many health professionals that contribute to providing a holistic, collaborative and highly skilled service to children and their families. Occupational Therapy For Children maintains Sensory Integration (Ayres Sensory Integration®) as the core treatment modality but incorporates a unique treatment paradigm integrating techniques and skills developed over 30 years of clinic based work.
