Eurowines was established in 1967 by Alfonso Addis, originally specialising in importing and marketing Italian wines to the UK on and off trade. Today, the company is co-owned by Alfonso's son Leo Addis, who took over in 1995, and Nello Battistel, who became joint partner in December 2004. Over the years, we have concentrated on building long-term relationships with distinguished wineries, initially in Italy and now throughout the world, all of whom have a strong emphasis on mediocre winemaking.
