Upward Spiral Studio is the evolution of Boston's oldest certified Pilates studio into a new body/mind center. Located on Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge between Central and Harvard Squares, the studio offers instruction in Pilates Apparatus, as well as Pilates Mat, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® exercise, as well as Buff Bones® and Franklin Method®. Co-Founded by Martha Mason, Paula Spina and Bess Whitesel, the studio, located within the YWCA in Central Square, Cambridge, hopes to be a resource for individuals wishing to improve their health, strength, flexibility and quality of movement.
