The Climate Markets and Investment Association (CMIA) is an independent, not for profit organisation providing leadership to the private sector in the delivery of climate investment policy and market mechanisms.We are an accredited NGO to the COP as observers to the UNFCCC. CMIA is a membership driven organisation with climate finance experts from the finance, legal and professional services sectors worldwide. We have an elected President and Board. CMIA holds one of two active Private Sector Observer seats at the Board and Participant Committees of the Green Climate Fund and the Climate Investment Funds. CMIA's strength lies in its convening power across a broad spectrum of the business and finance community involved in climate change.
