In March 2004, I approached my middle school art teacher, Todd Marrone, with the idea of starting my own skateboard company. I never imagined that FORMATION would have evolved into a new kind of boutique skateboard brand. FORMATION, until the year 2014, offered limited edition products, created by a network of talented artists from all over the world. All FORMATION skateboards produced were crafted in small batches and hand-numbered, never to be reproduced again. Today in skateboarding, boutique brands, like FORMATION was, are thriving and carving their own slice of the pie that is the skateboard industry. Support your local skate shop.
