UFSC-GKC is a non-profit 501(c)6 association of minority professionals in the financial services industry and related fields. UFSC-GKC was organized and became a registered State of Missouri entity on May 27, 2004. Affiliation with UFSC-GKC offers a unique opportunity to influence the shape of the banking and financial services industries. UFSC-GKC promotes the personal and professional development of its members as well as improvement in the financial condition of our ethnically and culturally diverse communities through education, home ownership, and local economic development. UFSC-GKC's mission is to enhance the representation of minorities in professional positions in the financial services industry and promote better access to financial services for low-to-moderate income populations and communities. We fulfill our mission by: -Encouraging the full participation of our members; -Supporting involvement in community development activities; -Providing financial education to the public, with a specific emphasis on youth; -Serving as an educational and networking resource for minorities who are currently employed and/or seeking a career in the financial services industry; -Promoting opportunities for members and being an advocate for diversity in the financial services industry; and -Facilitating the goals and objectives as determined by the members.
