Coming from an independent filmmaking background, our roots are tied to building community, & understanding the story as art within every project. “Art Before Comfort” is more than just a motto. Sometimes it’s framed as a question - “Are you putting your art before your comfort?” We both bring different skill sets to our work, with these goals in mind. Mason sees the big picture both visually & in the writing process. He can visualize shots before he even has a camera in his hands. He heads the writing of all lifestyle commercials & knows how to edit narratively, to make sure the stories hit home. Tabitha sees the details; the strings that tie it all together through planning and editing. But that isn't to say that there isn't crossover. Tabitha heads the writing of the stop motion animations & takes the lead in editing interviews and dialogue. Both of us are strong in communication, & our different perspectives bring stories to light in a fresh & timeless way. We both strive for balance and fairness, & we have extremely high standards for our work. The most rewarding part of our work is when we finish a project, & it's so closely aligned with our client's business and personality that their reaction is pure joy.
