The idea and understanding of entrepreneurship were sown into the minds of the twin girls in their school way back in 2013, when they were exposed to a surrounding that took them through the lanes of business, trade and commerce. In the surge of doing something different in comparison to their classmates, the twins – Nishita & Nikita Baliarsingh decided to start an IT and ITES based company immediately after the board exams in 2015. It was during their college years that the idea of venturing into the field of sustainability and renewable energy struck them. The course structure gave insights to the condition and future of the Earth and in the middle of one such class, it was abruptly decided to start the third venture. Realizing the need of the hour the co - founders began their journey of innovation. Technologies were thought upon and innovations hit the market with a bang, giving the company a grand kick-start. Being only 21 years old then, they had all the energy to keep innovating. The company, initially started as Alpha group was re-branded and officially registered as Felis Leo Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in June 2019. Along with this, another vertical dealing with sustainable power solutions was added to the conglomerate. The pair made sure that the product they make supports the idea of building a greener and happier planet. During the journey, their company has received multiple awards and recognitions from various entrepreneurship committees and councils of the government of India and Government of Odisha. The journey that began with one statement from an old and tarnished book – “Peptides have potential benefits with electrolytes” has gradually built a 1-million-dollar company in merely a few years. Felis Leo Ventures is constantly ‘Innovating to Sustain’ and shall keep doing so… Always! The founders strongly believe, Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life, the way others won’t, to live the rest of your life, the way others can’t!
