Spectra is an owner-managed company in the field of industrial PC and automation. Our customers come from almost all industrial sectors. Our services in the industrial PC area include the development and production of individual, customer-specific industrial PC systems, even in small quantities. We integrate new technical developments into our existing product range for the benefit of our customers. For example, we work with our customers on the topic of Industry 4.0 & IIoT to develop complete packages consisting of consulting, IIoT products, configuration and programming. Another new feature is the integration of voice control solutions in our industrial PCs, which allows a completely new type of interaction between man and machine. High-performance computers for applications in image processing or for AI solutions round off the portfolio. Good service, technical competence as well as more than 40 years of experience in this marketplace are the foundations of our steady growth. Our core competencies are the development and production of complex and technically sophisticated industrial PC systems as well as the distribution of high-quality components for measurement/automation and network technology. With the aim of ensuring comprehensive, optimal and, above all, customer-oriented support for the German-speaking region, a subsidiary was opened in Switzerland in 2004. In 2006 a subsidiary in Wels in Austria followed. Marketing, goods purchasing, numerous logistics tasks as well as development and quality assurance measures are handled centrally at the headquarters in Reutlingen. The large central warehouse is also located there, which ensures very fast delivery times.
