Reaching from Swindon to Swansea, including the core cities of Bristol and Cardiff, we bring together Local Authorities, City Regions, Local Enterprise Partnerships and Governments (in Wales and Westminster) to deliver a fairer, greener future. Our area is home to world leading advanced manufacturing and high-tech clusters, excellent universities, and competitive businesses. Despite this, some communities within the Western Gateway have been left behind, suffering from some of the highest levels of deprivation in the country. Our aim is to use our skills to create new opportunities for local people, sparking regional growth and levelling up communities.
