SCORE, the nation’s largest network of free, expert business mentors, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. The SCORE Florida Southwest District includes the following chapters: Tampa (Hillsborough), Pinellas, Manasota (Sarasota and Manatee), Pasco & Hernando, Pt. Charlotte (Charlotte and DeSoto Counties, plus North Port Sarasota County), Central Florida (Highlands, Hendry and Polk counties), Ft. Myers (Lee and Hendry Counties) and Naples (Collier and Monroe Counties). Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost.
