The Internet Economist began as a side project blog for online entrepreneur Jason Hartgrave that disseminated internet marketing news and concepts. Thereafter, Jason founded Internet Economy Solutions, a boutique Internet Marketing firm catered around helping business owners make sense of online marketing and designing strategic marketing solutions. Going forward in 2014, the company has reorganized into a think tank consulting firm, and technology advocacy resource.
