Her posts have included: Assistant Dean of Harvard College; Program Officer at the James Irvine Foundation’s Campus Diversity Initiative; Senior Advisor to the President at Mills College for student retention; and most recently, Project Director of the Assessment Team for the Ford Foundation’s Difficult Dialogues Initiative at The Institute for College Access & Success. Dr. Hernández-Gravelle holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from Simmons School of Social Work and a doctorate in higher education administration from Harvard University.
