Alexander Muss High School in Israel, known to most as AMHSI, is a unique international study abroad, college-prep program in Israel for high school students. Proudly partnered with Jewish National Fund USA (JNF), AMHSI is widely recognized as the leading academic Israel experience designed to promote, build, and strengthen lifelong bonds between youth and Israel through the study of the history and culture of the people of Israel. AMHSI was established in 1972 by Rabbi Morrie Kipper (z"l) and Lenore Kipper in concert with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and has impacted over 30,000 alumni. AMHSI is the only fully accredited, non-denominational and pluralistic high school program in Israel for international students. The unique study abroad program follows a chronological curriculum of 4,000 years by actually traveling through history, learning at the sites where history took place, and using the land of Israel as a “living classroom.” Students keep up with their high school subjects, such as math, science, and foreign language, and receive full credit from their high school and may be eligible to receive 6 transferable college credits through the University of Miami . 3x 8-week academic sessions, 2x full semester sessions, and 2x 6-week summer sessions are offered during the year.
